How I got started with James at Portal
In the past, a big frustration for me in business, was when I had to attend meetings with external providers and I wasn’t able to communicate with them clearly and confidently in English. I felt that this put unnecessary strain on the relationship and hindered productivity. As a result, I decided to focus on developing my Business English Skills but had the challenge of trying to find the right person or company to help me. My concern was only being able to attend typical Academy classes, which I found to be a little dull and not very practical.
What my classes are like
My classes have been a little different to what I’ve experienced in the past. Instead of following a generic, standardized curriculum. The content we cover is dynamic, practical and specifically tailored to my goals and objectives. I am very happy to have found James! I feel that I have developed more than just a better understanding of the English language. I believe I have gained a deeper understanding of the English culture and developed a greater level of confidence, when it comes to communicating in English, in business.
How the training has helped me
Overall, I am very happy with the result! I am able to express myself more accurately, communicate more clearly with international business professionals and I feel better prepared for the business world.
